Doug Taylor, the proprietor, has been in the electric service industry since 1968, where he has been an electrician, estimator, foreman, project manager, general manager and, from 1983-2002, co-owner of a large electrical contracting company in South Florida that serviced commercial and residential customers. Mr. Taylor sold that business in 2002 and has been operating Doug Taylor Electric (DTE) in the southwestern-North Carolina, northern-Georgia region ever since, using his years of experience in one of the most competitive and demanding regions of the U.S. to provide local customers with old-fashioned service. DTE shows up on time, performs clean, quality work, and they leave your place better than they found it. They also deliver a bill that won’t exceed the stated expectations.
